“Dangerous” Dan Allen hails from Union, Ky., near Cincinnati. He grew up listening to Top 40 radio on WSAI, Cincinnati, and dreamed of someday being in radio. He went into the family business for several years before he heard the calling of radio.

Dan has hosted and programmed oldies stations now for over 30 years, including a networked oldies show from Las Vegas and, ultimately, Dan created the Real Oldies format for his hometown WSAI, Cincinnati. He’s still the program director of the Real Oldies channel and hosts the midday show from 10am-3pm daily on 680 WINR.

Dan has three children and six grandchildren and he drives them crazy with trivia about the oldies.
